Little Gummi Q&A

Product Reviews With “Lifestyle Fit” as the Main Focus

Q: What is Little Gummi all about?

A: Little Gummi is the premier source for upscale baby gear and products finding the best out there so you don’t have it. We cater to parents, grandparents and caregivers new or seasoned to bring the best in the ever-changing world of baby and kid products because we firmly believe products should be limited to what fits best in our lives.

Q: Why did you decide to start Little Gummi?

A: We respectively knew nothing about parenting. We clocked in countless hours at the local baby store and still felt like none of the products ‘fit’ us. We were left to figure things out on our own and wanted to break that mold for other seasoned and non-seasoned parents alike by creating an outlet that truly allows you to decipher between the best of products to fit your lifestyle.

Q: What did you do before you started Little Gummi?

A: I was a model turned mom.

Q: Where did the name come from?

A: My husband was working in Brooklyn when we met and had asked me to write for a street mag he was starting aptly named Gummi for his love of gummy bears. The magazine didn’t happen but our daughter did so we decided to take the name and use it to document our journey as parents which led to what it is today.

Q: What are some of your favorite products to review?

A: We really like products that are designed to make parenting life easier. I love gear and necessities and playtime is saved for Dad!

Q: Where do you find out about the products you review?

A: A lot is word of mouth, social media and then the brands directly or their PR companies.

Q: What is Dad Play™?

A: We noticed after our first baby that Dad’s were a bit neglected in the baby/child industry so we decided to create a weekly feature promoting dads and their Littles through play time and bonding. We aren’t just for moms!

Q: How does your site help parents?

A: We didn’t have a coach when we were expecting our first so Little Gummi is designed to be your coach and digital guide. We want to help parents and caregivers have the easiest journey possible by promoting products that we love and trust to get you through the day.

Q: How does your family help with the site?

A: Our kids are our little testers, they are a strong and crucial part of each product we review and each lifestyle post we have because we want to be as informative as possible and my husband Steven does all of the backend work with graphics and designing. It’s a team effort.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about working on Little Gummi?

A: I love having the ability through Little Gummi to introduce to parents, grandparents and caregivers the trendiest and safest products out there.

Q: What advice would you give to first time moms?

A: Go with your baby’s rhythm and take time to really understand their patterns. It will make routines so much easier. They will do their nights better and just have a better overall attitude. It’s surprising how much they teach us as opposed to the opposite way around.

Q: What does your family like to do for fun?

A: We love family activities like being outside and going on hikes, hitting local neighborhood festivals and taking our German Shepherd out to play.

Q: What is next for Little Gummi?

A: We just starting airing a monthly news segment at a local ABC station so we are very excited to be the premier source for new trendy items on the market and share them on-air as well as on our upcoming Youtube channel.
